Supported File Types and Sizes for MMS
When sending an MMS through Swim POS, the platform supports a range of common file types and image sizes to ensure compatibility across devices.
Supported File Types
You can attach any of the following formats when sending an MMS:
- jpg/jpeg
- png
- gif (moving or static)
- mpeg
- tif
- bmp
- PDF (single-page only)
File Size Limits
- The maximum file size for a single attachment is 250 kB.
- Some older mobile devices may only support attachments up to 30 kB.
- For gif images, we recommend keeping the file size below 100 kB.
Recommended Image Dimensions
- Images (excluding gif files) are automatically resized by Swim POS.
- Maintain a 1:1 aspect ratio, e.g. 300 x 300 pixels, for best display results.
Keeping images within these guidelines helps ensure they are displayed clearly and delivered reliably to recipients.
