How to enter outstanding repair jobs
If you are new to Swim you may want to manually enter any outstanding jobs/repairs that you had in your previous system.
To enter outstanding repair jobs into Swim just follow the steps below:
- Create a new sale, select the customer and choose 'Sales, Repairs, & Valuations'.
- Enter the items that have been sold to the customer (these will most likely be non stock items).
- Enter a payment (if a payment or deposit has been made).
- The balance showing on the sale should then match the outstanding repair's balance.
Example:
- Kevin Smith has an outstanding resize (sell price $40).
- Here, you would make the sale out to Kevin Smith.
- Enter the resize as a 'non-stock' for $40.
- No payment has been made, so the payment area can be left blank.
- The balance will then show $40.
