How to bulk track repairs, jobs and special makes using the job tracking page
To track the status of a repair for a sale or to add a job so that it can be tracked, follow the steps below:
- Go to 'Sales Menu'.
- Select 'Job Tracking'.
- Enter the Job number for your job/s in the 'Job No.' field or to search for jobs, click the words 'Job No.' highlighted in blue to search for the job.
- Click 'Add'.
You can continue to enter further jobs, by entering the job number and clicking add. - Once you have added all the jobs to the list, you can update their details.
- To do this click 'select all' (or if you only want to update some of the jobs, click on the jobs you want to update, so that they are highlighted
- Update the Jobs by selecting the status in the dropdown list.
- Append comments.
- Click on 'Update Selected Jobs'.
- To update the items on each job individually, check the box marked 'Show Item Purchases'.
- Click on the item/s to select and highlight in yellow. You can select multiple items by clicking again. Alternatively, you can click on 'select all' to highlight all items.
- Update the items by selecting from the 'status 'and 'work order location' dropdown lists.
- Click on 'Update Selected Items'.
- To update more jobs, Repeat the above steps
- Note: Once you are finished, or to start a new list, click 'Clear Job Tracking List' at the bottom of your screen.
