How to update the sale or cost price of multiple items

You can update the sale and/or cost prices of multiple items by importing a CSV file with the new sale or cost price of the item(s).

To update with the stock number, the CSV file should be formatted by using the the column header: Stock No., Cost Price, Sale Price. You can also export a range of stock reports such as the stock listings report which uses the same headings by default.

To update with the supplier information, the CSV file should be formatted by using the the column header: Supplier, Supplier Code, Cost Price, Sale Price

Should you wish to only update one of the price field columns, simply leave the field you want to remain untouched blank and Swim will only update items where data is present.

Once your CSV file is ready, use the following steps to import that file and update your items:

Select Utilities from the drop down menu at the top tool bar of your Swim site.
Select Stock/Supplier
Select Price Update
From this screen, drag and drop the CSV file to the location indicated by the dotted line.
Select Update Stock Prices

Note: If you have multiple Swim sites the price update must occur from the head office store. You may still update stock located at all stores but the upload will only be visible in the utilities page of your head office site.
