You can update the sale price, web price, and cost price of multiple items by importing a CSV file into Swim. This is a fast and efficient way to update prices, especially for users operating multiple Swim stores.

Pricing details can be updated by stock number when your CSV file includes the following column headers:

  • Stock No.
  • Cost Price
  • Sale Price
  • Web Price (optional)

You can export a stock report, such as the Stock Listings or Stock Locations report, to use as a template. These reports use the same headings by default.

Alternatively, if you prefer to update items using supplier codes, your CSV file should use the following column headers:

  • Supplier
  • Supplier Code
  • Cost Price
  • Sale Price
Note: If you only want to update one of the pricing fields, leave the others blank in your CSV. Swim will only update values where data is present.

Follow the steps below to import your file and apply pricing updates:

  • Select Utilities from the top toolbar of your Swim site.
  • Select Stock/Supplier.
  • Select Price Update.
  • Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area marked by the dotted line.
  • Select Update Stock Prices.
Note: If you have multiple Swim sites, the price update must be done from your Head Office store. Although you can update stock at all store locations, the import option is only visible in the Utilities section of the Head Office site.
