Connecting Swim to Shopify

The connection between Swim and Shopify is completed by Swim Support after the required data changes have been made. Please follow the steps below to request and complete the connection process.

Note: Before going live, you may request a test sync of your data. This allows you to trial a small set of products in Shopify to confirm correct formatting before launching your full website.

Steps to Connect Swim and Shopify

  1. Ensure all required data changes have been made in Swim. Preparing your data to sync guide
  2. Enable Custom Apps in Shopify Admin: Shopify instructions
  3. Contact Swim Support to purchase the Shopify add-on.
    • Swim Support will provide you with details to create a user account in Shopify for Swim’s use.
  4. Contact Swim Support again to arrange a Shopify collaborator request.
  5. Swim Support will install the Swim app onto your Shopify instance.
  6. Await confirmation from Swim Support that the app has been successfully installed.
  7. Once confirmed, your connection is live and you are ready to sync products to Shopify.
