Importing Existing Shopify Data into Swim
If your Shopify website was live before connecting Swim to Shopify, you can import your existing product data into Swim by following the steps below.
Steps to Import Data

Complete a full export of products from your Shopify store:

Match the exported Shopify columns to the Swim Stock Import Template headings. The template can be found here.
If you are unsure how to complete this mapping, please contact Swim Support for assistance.

Import the newly formatted Swim Stock Import Template CSV file into Swim:
- Navigate to Utilities > System > Import.
- Select GENERAL as the form type, regardless of the stock type being updated.
Note: Variant options and variant linking from Shopify cannot be imported into Swim. These must be recreated manually in Swim after the import.
Importing Images
If your CSV file includes image filenames, you can upload the corresponding image files after importing the stock template:
- First, import the Stock Import Template CSV file containing the image filenames.
- Then upload your image files by navigating to Utilities > System > Upload Pictures.
Tip: Ensure your image filenames exactly match the entries in the CSV file for them to sync correctly.
