How to remove items from sales

If the sale is a deposit sale or a sale made recently that has not been posted (through post end of day) you can remove the item off the sale.  

To remove an item from a sale 

Open the sale and click 'Remove' next to the item you wish to remove.

You can then add the correct item to the sale and continue as normal.

If payments have been made on the sale, check these are correct and make any necessary adjustments.

If the remove option is not showing it means the sale is Posted. In this case the sale must be refunded to return the item back to stock, and a new sale created for the correct item. Visit the Refunds Knowledgebase section for more details: 2.04 Refunds
