How to create a catalogue

The catalogue function in Swim allows you to compile a list of items that, during a specific timeframe, have a special reduced price. If an item in a catalogue is scanned or entered into a sale during the specified date range, the special price will display. If scanned outside this period, the regular price will appear.

You can create, edit, and maintain stock catalogues through the stock menu area. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Click on 'Stock menu'.
2. Click on 'Catalogues'.
3. Click on 'Add New Catalogue'.
4. Type in the catalogue name.
5. Select the start and end dates.
6. Type in any comments (optional).
7. Click 'Add Catalogue'.

To add items to the catalogue, follow these steps:

1. Enter the 'Stock number' in the stock number field.
2. Input the catalogue price for that product and then click 'Add Stock Item'.
3. Repeat the above steps for each stock item you wish to add.

Note: To remove items from a catalogue, click 'Remove' next to the stock item you want to delete.
