How to create a catalogue

The catalogue/catalog function in Swim allows you to make a list of items that during a specific time frame have a special price. If the item on a catalog is scanned onto the sale during the date period, the special/catalogue price will show. If the item is scanned outside the period the normal price will show.

 You can create, edit and maintain stock catalogues through the stock menu area. To do this just follow the steps below:

1. Click on 'Stock menu'.
2. Click on 'Catalogues'.
3. Click on 'Add New Catalogue'.
4. Type in the catalogue name.
5. Select the start and end dates.
6. Type in any comments (optional).
7. Click 'Add Catalogue'.

To add items to the catalogue. just follow the steps below:

1. Type the 'Stock number' in the stock number field.
2. Type in the catalogue price for that product and then click 'Add Stock Item'.
3. Repeat the above steps for each stock item you wish to add.

Note: To remove items on a catalogue just click on 'Remove' next to the stock item you want to remove.
