Recording the opportunity level of a quote
As quotes are an opportunity to make a sale, Swim gives you the ability to record extra information about the opportunity.
This area of the quote screen is optional.
To record the opportunity details, firstly find and open the quote.
One the right hand side select the lead source, close date, sales stage and probability.
The lead source is how the customer found your store
The close date is the date you anticipate to close the sale
The sales stage is where you are at with progressing the quote to a sale
The probability is how likely it is that the quote will become a sale.
On this screen you can also change the status of your opportunity/quote at any time using the Sales stage drop down menu, select either "closed won" or 'closed lost" as the appropriate action.

You can also add in and/or follow up tasks or communications that need to be performed for this quote. To do this, click on view communications. To create a new communication click 'new'. Fill in the fields and click save and then the 'x' to go back to the quote screen.
