How can I limit the decimals from an exported file to 2 decimal places?

SWIM uses a high level of accuracy for pricing information due to the varying tax values used worldwide. As a result, you may find that a field in your exported file contains more decimal places than you would like.

Q: How can i limit the decimals from an exported file to 2 decimal places?

A: You can do this by using Excel. It's quick and easy and the steps are below:

1. Once you have exported your file from SWIM as a .CSV file, open it using Microsoft Excel.

2. Locate the column(s) that you wish to format so that they have only 2 decimal places.

3. At the top of hte coumn, click on the letter of the column you wish to format so that the entire column is selected.

4. Right click on the column and choose 'Format Cells' from the drop down list.

5. Select 'Number' from the list of option on the left.

6. Set the number of decimal places to 2 and click 'ok'.

That's it, you're done.

If you wish to use this elsewhere, you can then re-export this as a .CSV file again by saving it as .CSV file type.
