How to redeem a Gift Voucher that was not created in Swim

To redeem a gift voucher that was created in Swim, follow the steps below:

1. Create a sale for the customer redeeming the voucher.. Refer to the knowledgebase article: 03. How to perform a sale in Swim
2. When adding a payment to the sale, select the payment type of 'Gift Voucher'.
   Important: Make sure you enter the full amount of the gift voucher in the amount field.
3. In the pop-up window, select 'Non Swim Voucher'.
4. Click on 'Close Window'. This will take you back to the sale screen and completes the gift voucher payment.
   Note: Any amount included in the gift voucher that exceeds the sale total will be added as 'Customer Credit'. Because of this, you cannot redeem a Gift Voucher on a Quick Sale.
