We have been alerted to an issue affecting a number of physical servers that your Swim instance may reside on. To prevent further impact, an immediate migration is being performed to move your data to a standby server.

During this process:

  • Your Swim instance may be temporarily unavailable.
  • No action is required from your end.
  • Our infrastructure team is actively performing the migration and monitoring progress.

 

 

 

 

Previous Updates

Update: 12:35 pm AEST

Upon inspection, the physical drives hosting some Swim instances have shown signs of hardware failure. To restore service as quickly as possible, the backup drives are being physically transplanted into a standby server.

We do not yet have a confirmed ETA for full restoration, but our team are working to complete the move as quickly and safely as possible. Once the process is complete, your Swim access will be restored immediately.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete this emergency maintenance. Further updates will be posted here as they become available.

Update: 2:25 pm AEST

Impacted Swim instances are now progressively coming back online. If you are still unable to access your site, it may currently be in the final stages of the rebuild process. Further updates will be provided as restoration continues.

Swim instances have now been restored and connectivity should be stabilised. Should you continue to experience difficulties reaching your Swim site, please restart your devices or submit a ticket for further assistance.

Update: 6:05 pm AEST - 5th November

We are continuing to actively monitor all Swim instances to confirm that the solution remains stable. For customers who have reported ongoing concerns, any further updates or communication from our team will be provided directly within their existing support tickets.

We are aware of reports that some Swim customers are continuing to experience limited or no access to Swim. Our teams are continuing to review our internal systems to ensure you have access to Swim as quickly as possible.

Our server partner teams are working in tandem on dual solutions that will offer the fastest possible recovery time. The next update will be posted at 5:30 am AEST.

Update: 5:30 am AEST - 6th November

An earlier Swim backup has now been restored successfully and we are verifying the files to ensure all expected data is present. We will provide confirmation once Swim is accessible and, if applicable, share the timestamp from which the backup was taken. The next update will be posted at 8:00 am AEST.

Update: 8:45 am AEST - 6th November

Our team has made strong progress in reducing the time required for some internal systems to restore the remaining affected Swim instances. A small number of Swim sites remain offline, and it is our aim to have these restored as early as possible today.

We remain confident that all data is safe and securely stored, with no loss of data expected.
