How to bulk track repairs, jobs and special makes using the job tracking page


To track the status of a repair for a sale or to add a job so that it can be tracked, follow the steps below:

    1. Go to 'Sales Menu'.
    2. Select 'Job Tracking'.
    3. Enter the Job number for your job/s in the 'Job No.' field or to search for jobs, click the words 'Job No.' highlighted in blue to search for the job.
    4. Click 'Add'.
      You can continue to enter further jobs, by entering the job number and clicking add.

    5. Once you have added all the jobs to the list, you can update their details. 
    6. To do this click 'select all' (or if you only want to update some of the jobs, click on the jobs you want to update, so that they are highlighted
    7. Update the Jobs by selecting the status in the dropdown list.
    8. Append comments.
    9. Click on 'Update Selected Jobs'.

 

  1. To update the items on each job individually, check the box marked 'Show Item Purchases'.
  2. Click on the item/s to select and highlight in yellow. You can select multiple items by clicking again. Alternatively, you can click on 'select all' to highlight all items.
  3. Update the items by selecting from the 'status 'and  'work order location' dropdown lists.
  4. Click on 'Update Selected Items'.
  5. To update more jobs, Repeat the above steps

  6. Note: Once you are finished, or to start a new list,  click 'Clear Job Tracking List' at the bottom of your screen.
