How to change customers name on a sale


To Transfer / Change the customer on a sale just follow the steps below:

  1. Click on 'Sales Menu'.
  2. Click 'Transfer Customer Name on Sale'.
  3. Click 'Select Sale'. You can then use the search criteria to search for the desired sale. Click on the desired sale so it is highlighted and click next.
  4. Click 'Select Customer'. You can then use the search criteria to search for the desired Customer. Click on the desired customer so it is highlighted.
  5. Click 'Complete Transfer'.

Note:
You can use this feature to give a 'cash sale' a customer name. So if you create a quick sale and then want to add a customer name on the sale, use this feature.
If you want to refund or exchange a 'cash sale' we suggest using this feature first so that you have a name associated with the sale. If you want to refund a cash sale as customer credit, then you must use this feature first, so there is a customer to  give the credit to.
