The exact option used usually depends on whether you want a physical item to swipe or just whether you want the employee to clock on to the software.

Swim covers the area that these types of apps do not, and that is clocking on and off of individual jobs. In Swim when a staff member is working on a job (eg repair, customer make etc) they can clock on/off to record the exact time spent on that job.  This way you can ensure you are making a profit from every job. And if not, at least know what it is costing you and attend to these losses accordingly.
