How to Add New Customers
Adding Customers in Swim
Swim allows you to add customers in two ways: through a new sale and through the Customer Menu.
Adding Customer from a New Sale
This method is mostly used for customers making a purchase on the spot. Here's how you can add a customer from a new sale:
- Click on "New Sale" from the Home Page or via the Sales Menu.
- Type in the customer's details in the search fields and click "Search" to check if they're already in the system.
- If the customer is not in the system, click "Add Customer."
- Select the customer from the list and proceed with the sale.
- To add more information about the customer, you can either edit their details before selecting the sale type or by clicking on the customers name from within the sales screen.
Adding a Customer from the Customer Menu
Here's how you can add a customer from the Customer Menu:
- Click "Customer Menu."
- Click "New Customer."
- Fill in all the details using available information.
- Once completed, click "Save" in the top right.
- These details can be edited at any time by returning to the Customer Menu, searching for the customer, and clicking "Edit Details."
