You can use credit notes to reduce the amount payable when bulk paying supplier invoices. Follow the relevant instructions below depending on whether you're applying a credit note as part of a payment or using it as the full payment.


To use a credit note with a payment:

  • Go to the Expenses menu.

  • Click on Bulk Payments.

  • Select the supplier you wish to bulk pay invoices for.

  • Select and highlight the invoices you wish to pay, along with the credit note(s) you want to apply.

  • At the bottom, select the Invoice Total option — this will automatically include the value of any selected credit notes.

  • Complete the remaining details and click Pay Selected Invoices.


To apply a credit note without any payment:

  • Go to the Expenses menu.

  • Click on Bulk Payments.

  • Select the supplier you wish to bulk pay invoices for.

  • Select and highlight the invoices you wish to pay, along with the credit note(s) you want to apply.

  • At the bottom, select the Manual option and enter 0 as the amount paid.

  • This tells the system to apply only the credit notes without recording any additional payment.

  • Complete the remaining details and click Pay Selected Invoices.
